Director of Consumer Affairs, Strategy and Market Development
Richard joined TDX Group in 2015 to lead The Insolvency Exchange (TIX) business where he drove innovation, product development and new practices to help deliver better, fairer outcomes for creditors and their customers subject to personal insolvency.
In 2019 Richard took on a role as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility for Equifax UK&I before moving to Indesser in September of the same year. Reporting directly to the CEO, his role as Director of Consumer Affairs, Strategy and Market Development has responsibility for innovation, increasing the awareness of Indesser across the public sector and within the Money Advice community so that Indesser continues to raise the bar in the collection of money owed to government.
Prior to joining the Equifax brands, Richard worked at StepChange Debt Charity as Head of Business Development and Relationship Management responsible for funding and delivering debt advice through partnerships like supporting Barclays customers subject to problem debt and helping MacMillan’s users access debt advice. His career history also spans senior credit roles with PayPlan, Capital One and Virgin Mobile Australia.
Richard has operated across both large organisations with global reach, as well as smaller startup businesses. He has a unique background in the debt industry having a depth of knowledge in debt management, money advice, insolvency, debt purchase, collections and recoveries.
