LEJOG Charity Walk

We were delighted to kick off a brand new fundraising activity in November 2020 to raise much-needed funds for a local good cause, close to our Nottingham office. Emmanuel House is a local charity who supports the most vulnerable citizens without prejudice or judgement in order to tackle isolation, vulnerability and homelessness.

Our small Indesser team covered a total distance of over 1,000 miles in just a few weeks, by completing a virtual walk of the length of Britain via Indesser’s office in Nottingham.

We were delighted to achieve our ambitious fundraising target to raise enough money to enable Emmanuel House to provide meals for everyone in their shelter for at least one month. But you can still help to make a difference by donating via our JustGiving page using the link below.

We offered volunteering days to any of the Indesser team who volunteered to be ‘super trekkers’ by committing to a minimum of 20 miles in a day challenge and we were delighted to see some of the team cover more than 100 miles in total over the 6 weeks.

Emmanuel House strives to provide diverse and accessible services that meet basic needs and empower individuals to make positive changes in their lives to reduce homelessness in the city of Nottingham.

They welcome about 60 people each weekday and 40 people on Saturdays and Sundays and services over 70 hot meals a day. They provide basic services such as hot drinks, showers, a laundry facility and access to clean, dry clothes.

As a local charity, they are reliant on the goodwill of individuals, businesses and groups for financial support and for £60 they can provide meals for everyone in the shelter for a day. It's our aim to raise enough to provide enough for a month of meals.
